Nice resort

Swimming pool was great, also nice staff. Great location for a stay on koh tao.

Prices of drinks were high in comparison to the bars. Also the room was somewhat old. However that is what you pay for.

The staff was friendly, the location is good, and the accommodations were nice. We enjoyed our stay except for the loud

the location, swimming pool, beach front resort

there was very loud music from the dining area. I wanted to enjoy the sounds of the water and waves at the beach but all I could hear was the REALLY loud music. It ruined the atmosphere of the beach.

All in all a very nice hotel. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful property right at beach. Lovely pool area. Nice big clean beautiful spacious room with lots of storage space and small fridge and kettle for coffee/tea. Pool bar. Laundry service a plus. Easy walk to literally anything you could want, from restaurants, to pier, to pharmacies, tour companies, coffee places, etc.

Pool area set up was a bit inconvenient. Had to turn in towel card to get towels then depending on what side of pool you sat on, could be inconvenient to return towels daily. Pool ladder on one side of pool was inconveniently located and slippery. Pool area bathroom only easily accessible from one side of pool.

The pools were so nice! The pool bar was even better to order food and drink etc. Very close to the beach so get the best of both! The walk into the main strip is about a minute walk. This is where you will find lots of lovely restaurants and bars along the beach. Very close to the pier and the hotel has a shuttle bus that takes you there. Which is very handy.

Excellent location: pier, shops, bars and beaches in 5 minutes walk. And very silent and comfort place in same time. Pool with a bar is funny.

I chose a double bedroom. It was very clean. We got an upgrade and the room was really big. The Hotel is Well situated in the old center without the noise of bars or busy streets. The staff is super nice and were really helpful!

Everything. The place is clean and beautiful. Staff were amazing - asked for an early breakfast (because I had a diving course starting at 6:45), they were so generous and made me 6 pancakes and fruits for take away! Also breakfast is very rich and tasty. Highly recommend!

What was the highlight of Koh Tao Montra Resort

The hotel rooms are huge and provided us with lots of space to throw our stuff around without feeling crowded. The pool was amazing and the beach view from the restaurant is a sight you can't get enough of. The hotel is in a prime location close to the pier and all the shops, all within walking distance which was amazing. When we got off the pier, hotel staff were waiting for us and transported us to the hotel free of charge which was a lovely service. Montra have a sister hotel (grand coral), and offer free shuttle. Go there and snorkel, its worth it.

Conveniently located close to the pier; nice selection of restaurants & bars nearby; great pool and super-friendly pool staff! Beach-front is nice, and Sairee Beach within walking distance.

The bedrooms are big and comfortable! It is near streets with restaurants. However, the pictures are more nicer than reality and the beach is not nice. The food of the restaurant is not the best either.
